A surf camp may sell both a week of lessons and somewhere to sleep. That makes the boundary between activity management and accommodation management a central software decision.
Bookinglayer’s documented focus
Bookinglayer describes a connected flow for accommodation, activities, packages, payments and guest communication. Its website, checked September 30, 2026, presents booking, a customer portal and back-office workflows, alongside optional channel management and integrations.
This is more than a room calendar. If stays drive your business, include Bookinglayer in a demonstration that follows room and activity availability together. Confirm the actual modules and fees in your offer.
Separate internal accommodation planning from external systems
TIDEFORCE maintains properties, rooms and beds in Accommodation Management. The Accommodation Scheduler shows occupancy and supports bookings, blocks and assignment to a specific unit. Editable stays can be moved after review and confirmation. This is internal accommodation planning; it does not imply a full hotel PMS scope or automatic synchronization with Booking.com, Airbnb or other OTAs.
TIDEFORCE's school workflow connects booking with groups, instructors, assigned equipment, session reports and billing preparation. Staff plan delivery and approve the relevant financial records. That is the workflow to test when lessons and rentals are central to your business.
Demonstrate a mixed booking
Use a guest who wants five nights, three lessons, rental equipment and a transfer. Then change one lesson while leaving the stay intact. Ask each provider:
- Which component controls availability, and how is a conflict detected?
- Can staff distinguish confirmed items from requests?
- What happens to the price, guest information and invoice after a change?
- Which team members can see accommodation details and which only need the lesson plan?
Check internal room and bed allocation separately from external sales channels. The TIDEFORCE scheduler covers units maintained in TIDEFORCE; external availability synchronization needs an explicitly confirmed solution. Conversely, a focus on stays does not mean a system lacks activity tools.
Choose by the work you need to complete
Compare the demonstrated result, ongoing administration and agreed total cost. If your school needs additional hotel or OTA functions, assess a suitable external system and each proposed integration separately. Read the scheduler details, accommodation page and camp workflow before defining the project.
