At a glance

  • All rental statuses on one board
  • Trace items, bundles and returns
  • Equipment availability in the Resource Planner

Keep the booking, assigned item, rental status and price together. The rental board gives the desk a shared view of what is out and what is due next.

Which equipment is available, and when? The Resource Planner shows hourly availability in day views, weekly views for individual items and a continuous seasonal planner. Create bookings from the schedule and adjust their start and end times.

Run the rental desk from one board

Planned, active, multi-day and completed

The Rental Board groups rentals by status, with guests, planned times and assigned equipment. Late-start indicators highlight planned rentals whose start time has passed. Online reservations and walk-in rentals use the same system.

Assign specific items and bundles

Link the rental to actual boards, kites or wetsuits in your inventory. Item identifiers and expandable bundles make the assigned equipment traceable. Review availability before handing it over.

Keep photos, videos and condition records with each item

Add evidence after assigning equipment

After assigning an item, you can optionally choose a file from your device, take a photo or record a video. The evidence is linked to that specific item in the rental.

Review existing evidence when completing the rental

The equipment report shows the pre-rental photos and videos again. Record the condition, choose a storage location and add a comment if needed. This keeps the return linked to the item that was handed over.

Track handovers and returns for each item

The booking retains each item’s actual issue and return times, usage duration, recorded condition and storage location. You can see when individual pieces of equipment were returned earlier than the rest.

Missing condition or storage-location entries are marked as incomplete, so the team can see which information is still missing.

Return and payment have separate statuses. “Done” or “Completed” indicates that the rental has finished. Whether the booking is paid is shown separately in its payment summary.

Connect prices, bookings and the fleet

Prices for your rental model

Use hourly, half-day, full-day, multi-day and equipment-package prices. Seasonal and location settings apply where configured; Pricing Modes let products share a price table.

Book rentals and lessons together

Guests can book rentals and lessons in the same checkout. Rental records and equipment assignments connect to operational planning; the rental board remains the place to manage the rental itself.

Follow the fleet over time

Inventory Intelligence shows recorded usage, condition and location. When equipment is ready for resale, link it to a product in the shop.

Frequently asked questions

01

What does the late indicator on the board mean?

+

It indicates that the planned start time has passed while the rental is still planned. It does not trigger automatic extensions, overdue charges or refundable equipment deposits. Discuss those requirements before setup; a checkout part-payment is not an equipment security deposit.

02

How do we add existing equipment?

+

Equipment data can be imported by CSV. During guided setup, we agree how to organize items, set prices and record condition at handover and return.
