At a glance

  • Usage and condition per item
  • Usage over time · Beta
  • Connected rental and shop records

Equipment Insights brings the history of each board, kite, foil or wetsuit into one record. Your team can use that history when planning a session, checking a rental or preparing used equipment for sale.

The foundation is Inventory & Stock, where your team maintains items, individual units, condition and location. Equipment Insights brings usage and history together so you can assess equipment throughout the season.

Understand the equipment you already own

Usage, condition and location

Record usage hours, condition and location for each item. Moving equipment between bases or recording damage adds to its history, so the next team member can pick up where the last one left off.

Utilization across the season

Use the beta analytics to compare recorded use across equipment and periods at your location. See which equipment is used frequently and which stays idle before deciding to move stock or buy more.

Maintenance and replacement

Review condition alongside accumulated hours to support maintenance, replacement and retirement decisions. These records support your team’s judgement; they do not predict equipment safety or replace inspections.

Connected to rentals and the shop

The same inventory connects to rental records and equipment assignment in day planning. Retired school or demo gear can be listed through the linked shop.

Build a useful record from daily work

Your team supplies the data. Condition and location are recorded by staff, not measured automatically by sensors. The quality of each analysis depends on those records. Usage at item or session level must not be treated as proof of which individual guest used it.

Import existing equipment by CSV and agree the recording workflow during guided setup. Decide who updates condition, records movements and checks data after sessions.

In the item details shown here, the entered condition “New” appears alongside “Insufficient data · Stale” for health. A recorded condition is distinct from a reliable, current health assessment.

Follow recorded changes

The history shows recorded changes with the editor, timestamp and previous and new values. Search, category and editor filters help your team find an entry. This example records rental availability changing from “No” to “Yes”.

From the inventory record to the shop

The shop view shows the same Duotone Evo 2026 as an individual item, with the green variant in size 9 selected. Guests see the listed condition, price and collection option and can add it to their cart. Your team prepares the offer through Inventory & Shop.

Availability and scope

Equipment Insights connects usage, condition and equipment history. Utilisation and lifecycle analytics are marked as beta and accessible from the Manager role. Their usefulness depends on the data recorded. Automated used-gear marketing to former guests is a separate future capability.

Frequently asked questions

01

Can I trace an item to an individual guest?

+

The inventory history describes the item and its recorded assignments. An individual guest connection is only meaningful where a supported workflow explicitly records it; TIDEFORCE does not infer it from a group booking. Customer 360 explains how recorded customer context is connected.

02

Can we sell retired equipment?

+

Yes. Link the inventory item to a shop product and prepare the listing for used or demo equipment. The school controls the description, price and sale; an inventory record does not automatically publish an offer.

03

What does it cost?

+

See the platform plans. The agreed plan and setup determine your included modules; website and external analytics services are separate.
