Give guests useful spot information without promising the weather

Keep meeting points, preparation and supported weather sources together while leaving safety decisions with the school.

Guests often ask the same practical questions before arrival: where to meet, what to bring and whether the conditions have changed. A well-maintained information page can answer much of that without pretending to make the operational decision.

Separate stable instructions from changing information

Meeting points, access directions and preparation advice need clear ownership and regular review. Weather and webcam information changes much faster and depends on the supported source being available.

TIDEFORCE Guidebook can organize spot information and local recommendations. Supported weather or webcam integrations can add context. Confirm the source and its coverage for the actual location; a forecast for a nearby area may not describe the teaching spot.

Explain who confirms the session

Weather information is not an automatic safety approval. The school's qualified team decides whether and where an activity can take place. Make it clear how guests receive a confirmed change and whom to contact if instructions are unclear.

Do not imply that a displayed forecast automatically cancels, moves or refunds a booking. Those operational and financial steps need their own supported process and responsible person.

Maintain a practical fallback

If a source is unavailable or stale, guests should still find the meeting instructions and school contact. Review external links and remove information that no longer serves the visitor's task.

Local restaurants and activities can be useful additions, but label them as recommendations. They do not automatically become third-party bookings or paid parts of the guest's package.

The Guidebook page explains the content area. Use daily planning for the team's decisions once conditions affect the plan.
