An eFoil school doesn't run like a high-volume rental shop. Sessions are short, premium and supervised — often one-on-one or a small group — on expensive battery-powered gear that has to be charged, checked and matched to the right rider. Slots are tight, the price point is high, every guest signs a waiver before they step on a board, and many of your customers are walk-ins or experience-seekers who tried it once on holiday. Plenty of schools also run eFoil alongside other watersports. TIDEFORCE — the Commerce & Operations Platform for Outdoor Sports Schools — is built around that reality, not bolted onto a generic calendar.

What running an eFoil school actually takes

Short, supervised sessions — one-on-one or small-group slots that need an instructor assigned and capacity capped tightly per slot, not packed like a group class.Expensive, battery-powered gear — boards and batteries that have to be charged, condition-checked and rotated so a worn unit or a flat battery never reaches a paying guest.A premium price point — high-value bookings where one no-show or oversell hurtsWalk-ins and experiences — first-timers chasing a one-off taster session, often deciding on the spot

Supervised eFoil sessions, experiences, courses, rentals, tours, events, camps, shuttles, accommodation, lockers and add-ons all live in one real cart — a guest can book a taster session, add a second rider and reserve a locker in a single transaction. Set seasonal pricing per activity and location to match a premium offer, and set capacity per slot, activity, day and season so a one-on-one slot stays one-on-one and a high-value day never oversells. Vouchers, email confirmations and reminders are built in, and you can preview a draft of your storefront before you publish it with Live Preview. Pricing is a flat take-rate of 6.9% per processed transaction with payment fees included — no setup or monthly fee.

A real-time whiteboard and timetable give you the day at a glance. Allocate an instructor to each session, group riders by language, level, age and skill, assign the board and battery they'll use, and check people in — all by hand, so when a session runs long or a guest reschedules you adjust in seconds instead of rebuilding a spreadsheet. Work across multiple locations with operational visibility into each spot, and keep instructor session reports feeding a clean payroll record (sessions → periods → payouts) at the end of every period.

Run a shop where equipment is linked to inventory, and sell off used or demo gear when it's time to refresh the fleet. Assign boards and batteries to riders during day planning and check material in and out. Material intelligence tracks usage hours, condition and location, so you record which board is worn, where a unit is, and which battery needs attention before the next session — and use that to decide what's due for retirement or resale. Note: condition and location are recorded by your team, not pulled automatically from the battery — there's no live telemetry or automatic charge tracking.

Create invoices directly from a booking or a payment, with connected data and multi-rate VAT — you confirm each invoice before it goes out, so the numbers on a high-value session are always under your control. Bring in customers and material yourself with self-serve CSV import; if you're moving off a previous system, we handle the full migration with you. Add provider and partner accounts with their own access level so partners can place and manage their own bookings, with B2B provider invoicing. Everything is GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU on Google Cloud, and the data is yours — there's no marketplace sitting between you and your customers.

What's live vs. what's coming: Everything above is available today, with two notes. Material intelligence (usage hours, condition, location) is in Beta, and it's recorded by your team — there's no automatic battery telemetry or charge tracking. Guest-first booking with no mandatory login, email-first passwordless access, and QR tickets with one-tap check-in are (rolling out) — they're the direction we're shipping toward, not something to rely on today. AI-assisted setup and a storefront booking assistant are available as (experimental).

Frequently asked questions

01

Can TIDEFORCE handle short one-on-one and small-group eFoil sessions?

+

Yes. You set capacity per slot, activity, day and season, so a one-on-one slot stays one-on-one and a small-group session is capped where you want it. On the live whiteboard you allocate an instructor to each session and adjust by hand when a session runs long or a guest reschedules.

02

Can guests book a taster experience and pay in one go?

+

Yes. There's a single real cart covering supervised sessions, experiences, courses, rentals, tours, events, camps, shuttles, accommodation, lockers and add-ons, so a walk-in or first-timer can book a taster — and combine it with other items — in one checkout and one payment.

03

Does it track boards and batteries?

+

Yes, by hand. Equipment in the shop is linked to inventory, and material intelligence (currently in Beta) records usage hours, condition and location so you know which board is worn and where a battery is. Condition and charge are recorded by your team — there's no automatic battery telemetry or charge tracking.

04

Can we run eFoil alongside other watersports?

+

Yes. The same checkout and back office handle lessons, rentals, tours, events and camps next to your eFoil sessions, and you can run multiple locations with operational visibility into each one.

05

How is pricing structured?

+

A flat take-rate of 6.9% per processed transaction, with payment fees included and no setup or monthly fee. You can also set seasonal pricing per activity and location, which suits a premium, high-value offer.

06

How fast can we get started?

+

You can go live with your core offer fast, with guided onboarding. You can import customers and material yourself via CSV, and if you're switching from another system we handle the full migration with you.
