Most schools are sitting on an asset they never sell: the gear their students already trust. The boards, wetsuits, kites, foils and SUPs on your racks get demoed, rented and learned on all season — and when it's time to refresh the fleet, that used and demo equipment usually disappears into a classifieds post or a corner of the centre. TIDEFORCE gives you a shop where products and used or demo school gear are linked to the same inventory that runs your lessons and rentals, so resale isn't a separate, manual chore bolted onto the side of your operation.
TIDEFORCE is the Commerce & Operations Platform for Outdoor Sports Schools. The shop is not a disconnected storefront — a product for sale is the same connected data as the inventory item it comes from, the sessions that gear runs on, and the checkout that takes the payment.

Your used and demo school equipment can be published to the shop straight from its inventory record. The board a student progressed on, the wetsuit that fit them, the kite they flew all week — that's gear with a known history and a known feel, and you can put it up for sale instead of letting it gather dust. This is the opportunity TIDEFORCE opens up: sell the gear your students already know, from the same system that tracks it.

Frequently asked questions
01Is the shop connected to my inventory, or a separate store?
+
Connected. Products in the shop are linked to your inventory records, so what you sell is tied to what you actually have. The data link between equipment and the shop is live today.
02Can I sell used or demo school equipment?
+
Yes. Used and demo school gear can be published to the shop straight from its inventory record, so the equipment your students already learned on can be put up for sale from the same system that tracks it.
03How do I list a piece of equipment for sale?
+
Because equipment is linked to the shop through its inventory record, publishing it for sale is a step on the item you already manage — not a re-entry of its details into a separate storefront.
04Does TIDEFORCE automatically market the exact item a student used back to that student?
+
No. That targeted, student-by-student resale automation is on the roadmap, not in the product today. What's live is the foundation: a shop where used and demo gear is linked to inventory, so you can sell the gear your students already know.
05Can a customer buy gear in the same checkout as a booking?
+
Yes. Shop purchases go through the same 12-type cart as courses, lessons, rentals, tours, camps and add-ons, so a customer can buy a used board in the same flow they'd book a session.
06How do I know which gear is worth selling on?
+
Material intelligence — usage hours, condition and location per item — is available in Beta, so you can start to see which gear is worn out and worth replacing and which is in good enough shape to sell on.
